Started to play the bass: I started to play the classical guitar at the age of 14. Soon I realized that real progress in music was going on in the new genre of heavy metal. The bass was a natural choice for me because its role is to provide counterpoint to the melodies, and in that sense metal music continues the classical western tradition.
The best performance: I hope it will be in the future.
Would love to play: Metal and funk are the most fascinating styles for me as a bass player. If I still played classical guitar, I would prefer flamenco.
Wouldn’t play: Basslines that are mechanical, for example the 8th notes through the song.
Favorite songs: Most of our choices in this band are my favorites.
The best thing about Atrum Materia: This band works as a team and we share a common interest in vintage metal.
